When dealing with psoriasis skin care has got to be the number one thing and this can include moisturizing the skin, but it also goes much deeper than that. Everything that touches the skin must be mild; the bath soap that is used needs to be gentle and moisturizing.  Laundry soap that is used should be one that is free of perfumes, as well as the dryer sheets or fabric softener used.

Treat infections like strep throat immediately, this type of infection can cause severe problems for the person that has psoriasis, just as some medications for other conditions can worsen psoriasis.
