Shark cartilage extract has been studied in conjunction with psoriasis and been found to stop the growth of new blood vessels that are believed can play a role in the progression and development of psoriasis lesions. One of the reasons that it is believed that shark cartilage can help in treating psoriasis lesions is because of the anti-inflammatory properties contained in shark cartilage extract.
