Olive oil is one of the types of oil found in many homes and is also a great treatment for psoriasis and is even better for treating the dryness and itch of the condition when mixed with some other ingredients. These are ingredients that are found in health food stores, like oregano oil and calendula oil, which is added to the olive oil.
This is usually done by using about a half of a cup of olive oil and one or two drops of both of the oregano oil and the calendula oil. The mixture is then used as a rubbing lotion on the skin and will rid the psoriasis sufferer of dry patches and the itchy feeling that accompanies the condition.
The use of this rubbing lotion can be used once or more often per day when needed to relieve the symptoms of psoriasis.
